There are three ways to link a video in a post on HotCopper:
- Copy and paste the URL into the post so that others can click that link
- Use the insert video icon in the post formatting bar, and select the link option. Like the first method, this will only display a URL linking to the video
- Use the insert video icon in the post formatting bar, and select the in this case, </> code option. This will embed the video visually into the post
To get the embedded code from YouTube, which is not the link but is a more complex block of code, including an iframe, follow these steps:
- Click the share link on the video you want to embed:

3. Copy the HTML block provided:
Finally, go back to Hot Copper and paste that HTML block into the code section of the video embed tool:
